The State of New Mexico allows a maximum fee of $5 per notarial act plus, a travel fee based on the current IRS standard mileage rate. All fees will be agreed upon before the notarial act begins.

Mobile appointments are available at your home, workplace, or on Holloman Air Force Base (with proper access). Appointments can be arranged to fit your schedule.

Cash, card, or electronic payment are accepted. Payment is due at the time of service.

An expired ID cannot be accepted. Please renew your ID or provide an alternative form of government-issued identification.

The appointment will need to be rescheduled. To avoid additional travel fees, please double-check your documents and identification.

Yes. If your document is missing the proper notarial wording, a separate jurat or acknowledgment certificate will be attached for a $2 fee per certificate, in addition to the standard $5 per notarial act.

Notaries are not permitted to decide the type of notarization required. If you are unsure whether you need a jurat or an acknowledgment, please contact the organization, agency, or document issuer that provided the paperwork for clarification.

Yes. New Mexico notaries cannot certify copies of public records like birth, death, or marriage certificates.
